William Butler Practiced Landing on Glacier. Surface was rising faster/more than I thought. Believe the VSI actually showed climb when the A/C contacted the Glacier. Really enjoyed the landing area at destination. Missed cabin and landing area all together on the first fly by. Had to make three passes to decide how to approach and land.
Norm Richards lol. Indeed these landing sure aren't easy- like you say it's to find the right approach - that is after you figure out the best landing surface on a glacier. Interesting to thing that the bush guys in Alaska land on glaciers all the time - either with tundra tires or skis.. Norm
