MFS0032 Misty’s Mail Run-2: PAGY-PAVD: Via the TF Docks, Lighthouses and Sea Plane Bases

This trip is the second mail route: a low and slow mail delivery trip from Skagway tic-tacking northward to the Port of Valdez via RTMM handcrafted TF Dockages, Lighthouses and Sea plane bases.

The Excursion:
This is intended to be a low level flight excursion – Amphibian is a must to be able to visit most of the location covered in this excursion as they are water moorings for the most part and most also have helipads or locations to land a helicopter. The flight legs, for the most part in this excursion are all under 70 nm except one so any craft than can travel under 120 kts is suitable as long as it is an amphibian.

Aircraft:
Speed of aircraft is best around 80-120 to be able to enjoy the site seeing aspect and an amphibious craft for fixed wing or floater helicopters. There are helipads at most of the locations.
As far as fixed wing aircraft is concerned: single engine standard (non-turbo) or will fit the bill and as always, please feel free to use your craft of choice from the fleet. I expect to run a single engine prop like the Beaver for this trip but please use your aircraft of choice. Might actually try a helicopter for this excursion as the legs are very short but have multiple stops.

SIM: MSFS, (FSX, P3D).

Time/Weather:
If possible try live time and live weather. If not possible set your own weather and time parameters and enjoy the scenery.  (Dawn or Dusk are the nicest times to fly and can yield very pretty and interesting lighting effects).

Add-on Scenery:
There are lots of "eye candy" add-ons out there for this area- payware and/or freeware). Feel free to use any add-on or scenery pieces for the locations covered in this excursion. Orbx Mesh does add but not imperative by any means.

The only mandatory add-ons are the RTMM Add-on Scenery! (Single pieces Required: All RTMM Libs, Alaska Lighthouses, All SPB packages, TF Docks packages, and Misty’s Place. BUT there are also other locations that have been “RTMM” enhanced so recommend the RTMM Add-on express pack for your sim(s) which is a quick, easy to install and a complete RTMM all-in-one scenery package.
