MFC0012 TF Docks-Ketchikan to Wrangell

Often when we start from a Sea Plane Base, the water runway is over a mile from the actual dock, meaning you will not see the scenery that is around the dock. (This is especially true of Tongass Fjords X). Be sure when you are in the "GO TO AIRPORT" mode you look at the starting point and select a dock, not the water runway.

       There are, however "unlisted" docks and water starting points that can be helpful for your navigation, both surface and air. We have created a file that adds these for your pleasure, the RTMM_Docks.zip file. Each location has been "landscaped" ... piers added, etc to make the starting point more interesting.

      RTMM_Docks.zip is a package you download from Return to Misty Moorings from the zip button below. When you unzip this folder you will find this readme text file and a folder named RTMM_Docks. Place this folder in your Addon Scenery area for Misty Moorings and activate it in the Scenery Library for FSX or P3D. In FSX or P3D, when you select the WORLD / GO TO AIRPORT dropdown, all these dock starting points will now be available to you.

     To start at one of these, you can find them on the Starting Points table on the "Here to There" page. Do a CTRL-F and search for "#". Many of these docks are beautifully done with small communities around them, and you will never know they are there unless you seek them out.  NAMING NOTAM: There are many "unlisted docks". We name those continuing with the "Pacific Fjords" numbering system PFxx. For Tongass Fjords X, we will use TFxx. (See Below). All of the exact latitude, longitude and starting headings are listed on the Starting Points table at Misty's Place / Starting Points button. After putting this scenery folder in and activating it, if you ask Plan-G to collect the FSX data, those will all now be included for you on Plan-G.
