MFC0046 Rockies 6 - Redding, California to Boise, Idaho (KRDD-KBOI)

We continue northward in our mountain journey (#6) from Redding California to the land of potatoes. “Spud” town as it were!

Again we’ll be crossing rugged terrain in this trip so a heavier duty aircraft is in order as we navigate through river valleys, canyons and mountains.

All landings in this excursion are again nice land runways. There are 18 weaving legs in this trip.

This is a very high and low and slow trip but at times will need a more powerful aircraft.

Recommendation is a twin engine aircraft: standard or turbo prop which has enough power to quickly climb and also to navigate the
twists and turns IE: Beech 18, AC500, Twotter DHC6, or a Twin Cessna perhaps. I might try the Beech 18 in this trip but feel free
to fly the aircraft of your choosing. 

For the helicopter pilots out there a more rugged helicopter might provide a better ability to navigate this excursion rather than
a lighter one. But again whatever works for you.
